First Official User Convention Options

The 23rd of November 2007 is now set as date for this event. An e-mail invitation will be sent to active members. All details will be included in that mail (registration procedure, location, time, etc.). The party will be free for all users, of course.

It will take place at the Multimedia Gallery (Berlin, Friedrichstr. 200).

Since this is going to be a convention by users for users, we're grateful for suggestions and ideas. Please contribute! Your ideas and wishes are appreciated.

I wont get to the convention (it's in the middle of my exams and too expensive for me to get there).
But as a very thankful Magix-user, I will give my suggestions for a new update.
What I need for a new program/update, is proper HD-support:
-by having possibility to burn either blue-ray or hd-dvd
-by having a possibility to transform HDV or AVCHD footage (MPEG2) to a good "intermediate codec" for editing. This to not get great losses when editing (such as for example Sony Vegas has). (This is explained f.ex. here in wikipedia, under the "Edit HDV" chapter.)

And I have one more thing. Though it's not crucial for my next program, it would be nice to have good compatibility with youtube (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)



Hope I can get at least the proper HD-support in next Magix-version. because I am really satisfied with Magix by now, hope I can stick with it in the future.
Cause I, among many others, have bought an HD-cam lately, and will need a new HD-edit program within half a year or so (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
